Fees
We operate on a fixed fee basis, providing transparency and predictability in our billing structure. Below are estimated ranges of fixed fees for various stages of your case:
- Initial conference: 2 – 3 hours, £50 – £250 per hour
- Written advice on claim: 4 hours, £50 – £250 per hour
- Drafting statement of case: 3 hours, £50 – £250 per hour
- Trial:Claim not more than £3,000: 1 day, £500 – £1,500 brief fee
- Claim more than £3,000, but not more than £9,999: 1 day, £500 – £2,250 brief fee
- Claim more than £10,000, but not more than £14,999: 1 day, £1,000 – £2,500 brief fee
- Claim more than £15,000, but not more than £25,000: 1 day, £1,500 – £3,000 brief fee
Please note that the actual fees may vary depending on factors such as the complexity of your case and the experience level of the barrister required. Additionally, reasonable travel costs may apply, including potential overnight hotel stays depending on the location of the hearing.
Conditional Fee (‘No Win, No Fee’)
Regrettably, we are unable to accept public access instructions on a conditional fee (‘no win, no fee’) basis.
Timescales
The timescales for your case may vary based on factors such as barristers’ availability, the complexity of your case, and the other party’s approach. However, as a general guide, more straightforward cases tend to have a hearing date scheduled four to six months after a claim is made.
