Members accept specialist court work including in the County Court, High Court District Registries and Leasehold Valuation Tribunals throughout England and Wales.
We offer expertise at all levels of seniority in the areas of Landlord & Tenant including renewal of business leases, Housing, Freehold Acquisition and Leasehold Extension, Mortgages and other secured debts, Real Property, Restrictive Covenants, Access to Land, Easements Trusts of Land and Co-ownership disputes (TOLATA) and liability for Chancel and Church Repairs.
Members also accept instructions in relation to professional negligence with regard to these areas.
We have longstanding relationships with solicitors in property and property related work but this is also an area of growth with regard to direct public access.
Our barristers have been involved in related offshore or international work, with a particular focus on jurisdictions such as the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and the Channel Islands.
Furthermore, our members possess experience in various retail banking matters, representing both leading retail banks and their clients.
