Court of Protection
The Court of Protection is the division of the High Court exclusively dealing with matters under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Our team provides advice and representation at all stages where decisions regarding financial or healthcare matters need to be made, including welfare, financial issues, deprivation of liberty safeguards (DoLS), and medical treatment.
We regularly represent claimants, family members, and local authorities. Recent cases we’ve handled involve:
– Property and Financial Affairs Deputies, including the sale of property
– Appointment of Welfare Deputies
– Statutory Wills
– Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
