Timescales
The timescales for your written advice may vary based on factors such as barrister availability, the complexity of the deceased person’s estate, and your financial needs. However, it’s important to note that claims under the Inheritance Act must be made within six months of the grant of probate. As a guideline, your written advice should be available within approximately two to four weeks, where feasible.
